AI Email Generation

FieldPromax includes three AI-powered tools that analyze your customer data to create smart segments, generate event-triggered email templates, and build complete drip sequence campaigns. These tools work together in a recommended order to maximize your marketing effectiveness with minimal manual effort.

Before you start:

  • Activate email marketing and verify your sender in Audiences & Verification.
  • Have customer data in your account so the AI can analyze purchasing behavior and engagement patterns.

How to Access

Navigate to MarketingEmail MarketingSettings (gear icon) → AI Setup.

Recommended Order

The AI Setup page displays an informational card recommending you run the three tools in this order for best results.

  1. Run Smart Segmentation first — this creates customer segments that the other two tools build upon.
  2. Generate Event-Triggered Emails second — these use your customer data to create workflow-based templates.
  3. Generate Drip Sequence Emails third — these build personalized sequences for your customer segments.

AI Generate Smart Segments

The first action card (purple) analyzes your customer data and automatically creates targeted customer segments based on purchasing behavior, engagement, and value.

  1. Click the Run Smart Segmentation button (purple).
  2. Wait for the AI to analyze your customer database and generate segments.
  3. Review the created segments in Audiences & Verification under the AI Generated Segments section.

Result: New AI-generated audience segments appear with purple "AI" badges, each showing a customer count, RFM score, and description of the segment criteria.

Generate Event-Triggered Emails

The second action card (blue) creates AI-powered email templates for automated workflow triggers. FieldPromax includes eight hardcoded workflow triggers such as work order completion, customer onboarding, and estimate follow-ups.

  1. Click the Generate Event-Triggered Emails button (blue).
  2. Wait for the AI to create email templates for each workflow trigger.
  3. Review the generated templates in the Workflows tab on the Email Marketing page.

Result: Email templates are created for each of the eight workflow triggers and appear ready to activate in the Workflows tab.

Tip: If you run "Generate Drip Sequence Emails" before running Smart Segmentation, the AI will automatically create the segments first. However, running segmentation separately gives you a chance to review and refine the segments before building sequences on top of them.

Generate Drip Sequence Emails

The third action card (green) creates personalized drip email campaigns for your customer segments. If segments do not exist yet, the AI creates them automatically before generating the sequences.

  1. Click the Generate Drip Sequence Emails button (green).
  2. Wait for the AI to build multi-step email sequences tailored to each customer segment.
  3. Review the generated sequences in the Sequences tab on the Email Marketing page.

Result: Complete drip sequences appear in the Sequences tab, each with multiple email steps, delay schedules, and content targeted to specific customer segments.

Using AI Enhance in Broadcasts

In addition to the three AI tools on the setup page, every broadcast email editor includes an AI Enhance button in the rich text toolbar. Click this button while composing a broadcast to have the AI improve your existing draft copy with better phrasing, structure, and personalization.

Best Practices

  • Always review AI-generated content — check that the tone, offers, and details match your brand before activating any campaign.
  • Run segmentation periodically — as your customer base grows, re-run Smart Segmentation to capture new behavior patterns.
  • Combine AI and manual efforts — use AI-generated sequences as a starting point, then customize individual emails for your specific promotions and seasonal offers.
