The Mailparser integration enables automatic work order creation from incoming emails. When you receive service request emails (from your website contact form, a property management system, or other sources), Mailparser extracts the relevant information and creates work orders in FieldPromax automatically.
Before you start:
- This integration requires assistance from FieldPromax support to configure.
- You need to identify the email sources that should automatically create work orders.

How Mailparser Works with FieldPromax
Mailparser is an email parsing service that reads incoming emails, extracts structured data from them (customer name, address, service description, contact information), and sends that data to FieldPromax via an API connection. The result is an automatic work order creation workflow that eliminates manual data entry for email-based service requests.
The typical flow works as follows:
- A service request email arrives at a designated email address (for example, your company's service inbox).
- The email is forwarded to Mailparser (or Mailparser is set as the direct recipient).
- Mailparser applies parsing rules to extract customer name, address, phone number, email, and service description from the email body.
- The extracted data is sent to FieldPromax through a webhook connection.
- FieldPromax creates a new work order with the extracted information.
Result: A work order appears in your FieldPromax work order list automatically, ready for dispatch.
Setup Process
Setting up Mailparser requires configuration of both the Mailparser service and the FieldPromax integration endpoint. Because the parsing rules must be customized to match your specific email formats, this setup is best completed with assistance from the FieldPromax support team.
- Contact FieldPromax support and request Mailparser integration setup.
- Provide examples of the service request emails you want to parse (forward a few samples to the support team).
- The support team configures the Mailparser inbox, creates parsing rules to extract the relevant fields, and connects the Mailparser webhook to your FieldPromax account.
- Test the integration by sending a sample email and verifying that a work order is created correctly.
- Once testing is successful, set up email forwarding from your service inbox to the Mailparser address.
Tip: Mailparser works best with consistently formatted emails. If your service request emails come from a web form or an automated system (like a property management platform), the parsing will be very reliable. Freeform emails with varying formats may require more complex parsing rules.
Common Use Cases
