Configure your calendar time intervals, display order, default view, business hours, and job status tracking to optimize how your dispatch team schedules and monitors jobs.
Before you start:
- You must be logged in as an administrator.
How to Access
Navigate to Settings → Company → Calendar Config.
Time Interval Settings
- Select the Major time tick duration for the calendar Team View. This controls the time scale shown on the scheduler (for example, 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours).
Result: The Team View calendar displays time slots at the interval you select. Smaller intervals give more precision; larger intervals show more of the day at once.
Schedule Display Order
Choose which fields appear on each schedule block in the calendar view, and in what order.
- In the Available Fields list, click a field to select it. Selected fields appear with a green check mark.
- Selected fields appear in the Selected Display Order panel on the right, numbered in the order you clicked them.
- Click a selected field again to deselect it.
For example, you might choose to display the Customer Name first, then the Work Description, then the Job Type. The calendar schedule blocks show these fields in your selected order.
Calendar View Options
- Toggle Job Status Calendar View to enable job status tracking with five statuses: Assigned, Accepted, In Route, Checked In, and Completed. Each status is displayed with a distinct color on the calendar.
- Toggle By default load DaysOff on Calendar View to show employee days off (vacations, time off) on the calendar when it first loads.
Tip: Enable the Job Status Calendar View if your dispatch team needs real-time visibility into where each service provider is in their workflow. The color-coded statuses make it easy to see job progress at a glance.
Default Calendar View
- Select your preferred default view. Options include Day, Week, and Team views.
Result: When users navigate to the calendar, it opens in your selected default view.
Default Action Settings
- Choose the default action when a work order is selected in the Team View. Options typically include opening the work order detail or creating a schedule directly.
Business Hours
- Set the Start Time for your business hours (for example, 8:00 AM).
- Set the End Time for your business hours (for example, 5:00 PM).
- Toggle By default load Business Hours for calendar to highlight your business hours on the calendar when it first loads.
Result: The calendar visually distinguishes business hours from off-hours, making it easier to schedule within your operating window.
