Explore the three dashboard views in the Field Promax Plus mobile app — Tiles, Calendar, and Map — and learn how to navigate using the bottom bar, side menu, and search.
Before you start:
- You must be logged in to the Field Promax Plus app.
How to Access
The dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in. You can return to it at any time by tapping the Home icon in the bottom navigation bar.
Three Dashboard Views
At the top of the dashboard, a segmented control lets you switch between three views:
Tiles View
The default view displays your work orders as a card-based list. Each tile shows the work order number, customer name, job type, scheduled time, and current status. Tap any tile to open the full work order detail. The tile list is sorted by schedule date so upcoming jobs appear first.
Calendar View
The calendar view presents your schedule in a daily or weekly format. Each work order appears as a block on the calendar at its scheduled time. This view helps you plan your day and see gaps in your schedule. Tap a calendar event to open the work order.
Map View
The map view shows geographic pins for all your work orders. Each pin represents a job location on the map. Tap a pin to see the work order summary, then tap again to open the details. This view is ideal for route planning and seeing which jobs are close together.
Switching Views
- On the dashboard, locate the view selector at the top of the screen (showing Tiles, Calendar, or Map).
- Tap the view you want to switch to.
- The app remembers your selection for next time you open the dashboard.
Bottom Navigation
The bottom navigation bar provides quick access to the most-used features:
- Home — returns to the dashboard.
- Work Orders — opens the full work order list.
- Create — the floating action button (FAB) that lets you quickly create a new work order or estimate.
- Time Card — opens the timecard page for clocking in and out.
- More — opens additional options.
Side Menu
Tap the Menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner to open the side menu. This provides access to:
- Dashboard — the main dashboard.
- Work Orders — full list of all work orders.
- Estimates — view and create estimates.
- Time Card — clock in/out and view time entries.
- Expenses — log expenses and mileage.
- Equipment — look up equipment and scan barcodes.
- Referrals — submit and view referrals.
- Settings — app preferences and account settings.
- Log Out — sign out of the app.
Pull-to-Refresh
On any list screen, pull down from the top to refresh the data. The app fetches the latest information from the server and updates your view. This is useful when dispatch has just assigned new work orders or updated your schedule.
Search
Tap the Search icon on the dashboard to open the work order search modal. You can search by work order number, customer name, address, or description. Results appear instantly as you type.
Tip: Use the Map view at the start of each day to plan your route efficiently. Jobs that are geographically close can be completed in sequence, saving drive time.
